In the summer of 2004 four
guys (Gabriel Lafranco, Peter Kernstock, Peter Langenecker and Peer Ebner)
founded the melodic-deathmetal-core band "Arcanum". One year
before we had already played together in the hardcoreband "Injection".
A second guitar-player was missing, therefore we decided to search for
one… In a strange pub Peter K.met a totally drunken guy named Manuel Höller with whom we were hanging out together at the rehearsal a week later and got mad by our music like freaks. Unfortunately Peer had to leave Arcanum few weeks later... |

Fortunately we found a great
bassplayer named Rudolf Galler soon. Afterwards we moved into a new rehearsal-room
at the black lagoon studios but six months later Rudolf had to leave us.
So we found the female bassplayer called Bernadette S. who was playing
in the melodicmetal-band "Diabolica". Then we had a complete
line-up. For one year we sweat, loughed, shouted, drunk, bled, worked hard and the final product sounded terrific. We played our first gig at the Black Lagoon Battle band-contest and we gloriously won every round including the finals. (Thx a lot for all your support! You fans are fucking amazing!!!) |

After playing some gigs we
moved into a homestudio (Thx a lot for your help chris!) for a weekend
and recorded our first Demo-album called “Chaos Arise” (released
in April 2006) After these hights we wanted more and had great plans... That was one of the reasons why Manuel and Bernadette left the band. In the summer of 2006 we had many conversations with the head of the amazing austrian band-label Noise Head Records. We signed a contract and are glad to be part of the label. We also found a second guitar-player Julian Dölcher from the deep austrian forest and fortunately Rudolf Galler came back to us. In the cold winter of 2006 we started to record our first LP-Album called “What if you die tomorrow...” which will be released on February 17th, 2007. |
